Common questions

What is the Cyprus permanent residency investment route?

Cyprus offers permanent residency to applicants investing at least €300,000 in qualifying new residential property, alongside income and clean-record requirements. The figures and conditions are revised periodically, so we verify the current criteria with licensed Cypriot partners before any commitment.

What is the Cyprus corporate tax rate in 2026?

15%, raised from 12.5% by the tax reform effective 1 January 2026 as part of OECD alignment. The non-dom regime was not abolished by the reform, but planning should use the new rate.

Can family members be included in a Cyprus PR application?

Yes — a spouse and dependent children can typically be included, subject to the income requirements scaling with family size. Adult dependants face stricter conditions, which is one of the details we map before you choose the route.

Does Cyprus residency give EU travel rights?

A Cyprus Category F or investment residence permit does not automatically grant Schengen freedom of movement. However, Cyprus is an EU member state and holders of certain permits may access Schengen countries differently. This depends on your permit type — we clarify this before any application.

What is the Non-Dom tax regime?

Cyprus's non-domicile regime allows qualifying individuals to be exempt from tax on dividends and interest for up to 17 years, regardless of income received from abroad. It is widely used by founders and investors relocating from the UAE, UK and Lebanon.

Do I need to live in Cyprus to maintain my permit?

For Category F, you must visit Cyprus at least once every two years to maintain the permit. For investment residency, there is currently no minimum stay requirement, though this is subject to change with future regulatory updates.
